Abstract: Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), a number of COVID-19 related thyroid disorders have been reported, including subacute thyroiditis, autoimmune thyroid disease, non-thyroidal illness syndrome and some unexplained thyroid dysfunction. This review aimed to summarize clinical characteristics of COVID-19 related thyroid disorders and to discuss some possible mechanisms.
