Abstract: Cardiac surgery is one of the major treatments for congenital heart disease(CHD). At present, the diagnosis and treatment in top congenital heart surgical centers in China has approached the international first-class standard, and a large number of patients have received standardized treatment. However, the overall prognosis of patients with CHD in China remains to be improved. This article analyzed current gaps between China and western developed countries in terms of the distribution and accessibility of surgical resources for CHD, and proposed feasible paths to improve the diagnosis and treatment of CHD in China in the context of regionalization of health care.
