Xiehe Yixue Zazhi encourages all authors to use the Medical Research and Reporting Guideline, which has been widely adopted by medical journals in manuscript assessment. The commonly used reporting guidelines on medical researches include:

CONSORT statements (for randomized controlled trials)

STARD statements (for diagnostic trials)

STROBE statements (for observational studies)

PRISMA statements (for systematic reviews and Meta analyses)

Authors are suggested to visit the EQUATOR-network, which is a good educational resource to learn all the reporting guidelines, to check the corresponding reporting guideline that is applicable to the study you conduct while preparing your manuscript before submission.
