  • Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated glomerulonephritis (AAGN) often presents with clinically insidious features in elderly patients, leading to delayed diagnosis. It is frequently accompanied by multiple comorbidities, a high incidence of treatment-related complications, and poor prognosis, making it a significant cause of acute kidney injury and end-stage renal disease. This guideline, developed by a multidisciplinary expert panel, covers treatment principles, induction and maintenance of remission, management of relapsing and refractory diseases, renal replacement therapy, as well as the management of comorbidities and complications. It aims to provide an individualized diagnostic and therapeutic consensus for elderly patients with AAGN and to improve clinical outcomes.
