Abstract: Lymphedema is a hot issue that has attracted wide attention in the field of rehabilitation medicine in recent years. The complex decongestive therapy of lymphedema including manual lymphatic drainage(MLD) as the key technology is developing rapidly all over the country.We report a rare case of aggravated primary lymphedema in the contralateral limb and trunk after radical mastectomy. The patient achieved remission through MLD treatment. By reviewing the diagnosis and treatment of this case, we can deepen the understanding of the complexity of the pathogenesis of lymphedema and provide reference for individualized diagnosis and treatment of lymphedema.
