Abstract: Conflicts of interest can affect the credibility, independence, and quality of clinical practice guidelines. Guideline developers, users, and researchers are trying to manage and reduce conflicts of interest worldwide. In this article, we analyzed and compared the definition, classification, and management strategies of conflicts of interest of the key national and international guideline developers, and give recommendations on how to address conflicts of interest in clinical practice guidelines in China.
