Abstract: With the development of information technology in medicine, the amount of medical data mainly characterized by unstructured data has increased dramatically. The massive data can be processed by big data technology to generate databases with different themes and create huge additional value. At the same time, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology centered on deep learning, diagnosis and treatment assisted by artificial intelligence has shown a huge development prospects, which is helpful to guide medical activities and improve the efficiency of medical processes. The combination of big data, artificial intelligence and medical industry will become an important development direction in the future. This paper summarizes the application of big data and artificial intelligence in medicine.
