A Case Report of Radiation-Associated Angiosarcoma of the Breast

Breast angiosarcoma (BA) is a rare type of breast malignant tumor with aggressive growth, common local recurrence and distant metastasis, and poor overall prognosis. Its clinical symptoms and imaging features lack specificity and are easily confused with other breast diseases. In this article, we report a case of angiosarcoma of the breast secondary to radiotherapy for breast cancer, its clinical features, diagnosis and treatment process, and review the literature, combined with the relevant studies in recent years, to summarize the latest progress of breast angiosarcoma in terms of clinical manifestations, treatment strategies and prognosis.
