Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease involving multiple organs and systems, which can lead to various cardiac pathologies, among which pseudoaneurysm is a rare complication. This article reports a rare case of SLE complicated by left ventricular pseudoaneurysm (the seventh case reported in the literature), detailing the diagnosis and treatment process, and reviewing previous imaging data. Additionally, a systematic literature review was conducted to summarize reported cases of SLE complicated by pseudoaneurysm. This case suggests that myocardial infarction caused by coronary microvascular dysfunction may be the underlying mechanism for the development of pseudoaneurysm in this patient. Late gadolinium enhancement on cardiac MRI is valuable for the early detection of cardiac involvement and plays an important role in early intervention for such patients.
