Abstract: Primary biliary cholangitis(PBC) is an autoimmune disease characterized by the liver damage. The pathogenesis of PBC is not fully understood currently, and many factors are involved. The cellular immunity mediated by CD8+ T cells plays an important role in the immune dysregulation of PBC, which is related to the injury of biliary epithelial cells. This review is mainly about the regulation of CD8+ T cells that involves several mechanisms, and the function of this group of cells in the liver damage of PBC patients.-
